Great National Park campground

Located on a meadow along the Bradley Fork Creek of the Oconoluftee River. There are elk in the area that walked past our campsite one morning. Nice walking trails with log bridges over the water. In Great Smoky Mountain NP and near the Oconoluftee Visitor Center, but close to Cherokee, NC. Campground and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

Nice campground in the Great Smokies National Forest ... staff was super helpful when we trying to make reservations ( the website was a bit difficult to use) - they also were great when we decided to pack up two days early due to bad weather- we were able to checkout early and get a refund for last two days. Restrooms only are placed throughout as the grounds does not have showers... they do have water stations and I think black tank dump stations... grounds and surrounding area are very nice - grounds has creek on border ( Bradley Fork) as well as the Occonaluftee as you come into park. Sites are , for the most part, roomy - we had a 17 foot camper and two vehicles. Pull through sites. Depending on the season- two sections allow generators from 8 am to 8 pm... so enough time to do what you might need. One issue we did run into several times - traffic on 441 due to leaf and elk lookers - so travel to / from can be an issue. We would come back as those issues can be overcome.

Stayed at tent site in my camper van. There is a creek run through campground, you can hear it at night. So peaceful and relaxing. There are some long sites for RV.

Great Campground Close To Cherokee

Stayed here 3 nights. No hookups but we got a spot right by the river which was beautiful. Cool enough you don't need AC at night. Close to Cherokee. Easy access to gem mining, fishing, river swimming, tubing, and shopping. We've been going to Cherokee for years. Can't wait to come back.

Would Come Back!

Great place. F loop I believe is rv only, but get a site in the river. No hookups, no cell service which is ok with me, helps keep the big boys out. You can use a generator during certain hours. Camped with a 35' fifth wheel. The place was packed in October when I went

Late July 2017 Great Trip

Loop F is RV only. Several large spots available with creekside. Sites are close to bathroom throughout the CG. Bathhouse in every loop. Nice trails and good trout fishing.h horseback riding stable on property. A thru D available for tenters and small RV or pop ups. No hookups or showers. Water fill and dump stations on site.

Smokemont B32

Good site across from the creek so you can hear it all day and night. Stayed 3 days. Camp sites are pretty close together.

Best kept secret.
