Quiet, Pretty, Decent Amenities

I stayed in December 2001 for 4 nights. Was very peaceful and I loved all the birds. Shower was clean and had plenty of hot water. Washer was fine too but the dryer needed two rounds to get clothes dry enough. My site was full hookup but I wasn't long enough to reach the sewer hookup so I just backed up and dumped before I left.

Easy on/off from I81 with accessible gas stations. Sites are mostly gravel pull through. Wifi works fine, plenty of OTA TV stations. Cash only. Owner doesn't take reservations, just says" come on in, I'll find a place for you " and then does. Stayed one night, would stay again due to the convenient location.

We arrived late after a long drive. The owner and two residents were very helpful. Close to the highway with easy access for a quick overnight.

Idyllic

The pond is inspiring. Weeping willow islands. We stayed only one night so did not utilize facilities. No wifi or cable. Had to restrain pooch for chasing ducks, swans and other fowl. Not level.

Great Little Stop!

Cute little place that is very well maintained! Nice price for the scenery and a very quiet spot. If you're looking for relaxing this is your place!!!!! Owned by an old timer, but he is very friendly and helpful. If you can't get them on the phone stop by, lots of spots with 50 amp service and pull thru sites. Very accommodating and we will return!

Pulled in from a long run with two friends. We all had fairly big rigs. Very accommodating owner and his wife took care of us. Well appointed site. Full hookups and ideal for a traveling over nighter. Hats off to a fun experience.

Poor Customer Service

Checked in on Saturday afternoon for 4 weeks. I was told I could chose any site. I drove to what appeared to be a level site away from the live-in units. None of the sites are gravel. There is gravel under the grass, but it is very unlevel and full of holes. After using all of my leveling blocks, the motorhomes jacks were still unable to level the unit. Also, there was no cable at the site. After walking around on the grass while setting up and tracking it into the RV, I realized this is not going to work for 4 weeks. I located the lady that checked us in and asked if I could get my check back and pay for 2 nights, leaving on Monday. She questioned me as to why. After telling her, she said if I want a level gravel site with cable I could move down with the live-ins. I told her that was not acceptable. She gave me my check back and I paid her $60.00 for 2 nights. On Sunday morning, while walking the dog the owner came to me, said he would reimburse me for one night and to leave now.
