Big Money, SAVE IT & STAY IN REST AREA

Stopped by about 5 weeks ago, Ive long term stayed 2 times over 6 years, it was a WILD place & needing MASSIVE WORK. GOOD PLACE TO GET ROBBED. BUT SUPER LOW RENT. A year ago it was looking WHOLE LOT BETTER. They had staff that actually showed up to the office & game room, they had a laundry, pool needed TLC, guy that lived there kept the grass mowed & looking NICE.. They were digging fixing electrical, water wasn't brown anymore but the pressure still low. They hired another male that lived there doing Night & after hours on site Maintenance and also security. He knew what he was doing &didn't see all the WILD criminal types or bums anywhere on the property, was quiet & no worries bout being robbed..bathrooms were looking GOOD. Showers had hot CLEAN WATER & well lit, huge change from before. When stopped by a month ago NEW female owner was there, stuck up abrasive , kicked a really honest & sweet older lady out & struck me as a Gold digger.. decided to pass & not stay the night.

Horrible Place

No stars. It was nothing like the pictures . No one was there to check us in. Someone who lives there told us where we would be staying. The spots were horrible. Not level and dirt. We moved on. Do not waste your time going there.

Convenient to interstate a little hard to find behind Krystal other restraints and stores near by. Sites a little small but most are shady some pull though lot of long-term residents including some mobile homes. Pool not open laundry old outdated. On weekend it is pick your own site . Over all not bad would stay again. Price good for full hookups

This is a nice little campground. It is is well maintained, has all the amenities you could want, and right next to the Athens regional public park. It is a bit pricy however at $17.10 for tent camping! Not sure how much for an RV. Also pretty well hidden behind a Krystal and a closed down Racetrack gas station, but definately worth the effort.
