Dakota Campground

Clean, nicely kept, wooded sites, has a pool but didn’t use. Would definitely stay again

Friendly, Quiet And Pleasant

A little dated but friendly, quiet and easy to stay. Pull-through site. Very reasonable fee. Pool available - basic but nice and our kids loved it! Shower house so-so. Laundry available. Nice wooded sites. Even got pizza delivered from in town. Returning again on our way home!

Nice and quiet. Road to our spot a little rough. Family friendly campground. Our spot #16 only needed a little leveling. Overall a nice place. Great wi fi.

Love It

We travel following fires for a living and we've stayed in many an rv park, so we had started our trip home in Southern Colorado expecting to make it home north east So Dak and the winds were wretched i called last minute, late March, not expecting anything to be open. Ron answered pretty late in the evening and was so nice& helpful. This park is so well maintained, clean, quiet and honestly a hidden gem. Highly recommend

Overnight

Stayed overnight while passing through with 20' trailer. Very convenient. Easy check-in. Quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Great Place!

We stayed 1 night on our way to the Badlands. Ron was so responsive, very sweet and very helpful. It’s a well maintained park with a great pool. It’s right off the I-90 but so it’s very convenient and you can’t really hear the traffic. The showers had great pressure and temperature and the bathrooms are very clean.

Beautiful Little Campground

We spent the night on our way to Mt Rushmore and surrounding area. What a beautiful little campground this is! So clean and quiet and well maintained. Wish we had more time to spend here. Very relaxing spot!

Wonderful campground!!! We had called and made a reservation around noon, they had only taken our name and then the weather took a turn for the worse. We had rain, hail and wind for hours. When we got to the campground about 9:00 PM. They were waiting for us in the pouring rain and lightning. Led us to our campground and helped us back into our campsite. The campsite was clean and level and easily seen (in the pouring rain). Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Would give them more than a 5 if possible. Will definitely stay here again if we are back this way.

Great Stop

We stayed for three nights to see the sights in the area. Nice folks managing the park. Quiet during the week; really busy on weekends. Older facility but well maintained. They are there everyday working. Level gravel pads, pull throughs available. Take a look at sunset over by the playground. We stayed on way to Black Hills and on the way home. Would stay again.

An oasis. Many trees. Level sites. Friendly welcome. Clean, quiet. Only spent one night but would come again. Could use a dog park. Didn't use the pool but it looked good. Best value in an RV park I've ever been to.

Nice Park

Staff was very friendly, large pull thru level sights. Lots of shade trees. Easy off and on the freeway.

Great little campground right off the highway. WiFi was terrible, but everything else was great. Clean pool and friendly people

Great Oasis With Lots Of Trees

This is our 3rd time staying here on our trips out to Yellowstone and Glacier. We usually take an extra day here to relax. This time we have our granddaughter who was very excited to play on the playground and go swimming in the pool! Nice shady campsites. The singing birds are everywhere in the trees.... they will wake you up at dawn!

Very nice and quiet campground. We stopped in overnight and would come back again.

Level sites but roads are very sandy. We were here in August and flies were thick!! Hard to be outside for meals.

40' Motorhome

Owners Ron & Sandy are the most accommodating & kind hearted people anyone could meet. The campground is clean with ample space for all RV sizes and types as well as tents. The mature trees provide shade as well as protection from wind & thunderstorms. The large pool is pristine & meticulously maintained, a welcome refreshing for weary travelers of all ages. Easy access from/to I-90 without it's noise is an added benefit.
