Stayed 10 days here outstanding people well placed near Mount Rushmore and Custer State park. “Pops Grocery” was the highlight/ surprise of the area located in Hermosa a short drive, had everything needed. Will stay here again when passing through.

Nice And Clean
This was a wonderful place to stay. We were only Tent in the Park. Stayed one night. Bathroom and showers very clean and heated. Activities offered for those that want to join nightly. BBQ and campfire pits at each site. Grassy and comfortable.

Nice Park
We stayed a week and the park was good. They water the driveways to keep the dust down. We only used the laundry room, it was clean and good machines. They do serve breakfast daily, which is nice. It’s close to all the sights. We had lots of room for our 36 ft motorhome and car. The site was level too!

Nice Park
Nice park, sites are a little on the tight side. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. It was hot while we were here and the electric was solid. The only drawback is the smell, they have a couple sewage ponds on the north end of the park that you can really smell if the wind is from the north. We stayed a week, in a motor home

Nice park with a variety of site options. Price for larger rigs is more. Check their website and call ahead.

Stayed here for almost 2 weeks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice place with full hookup. Sites are a little close but not that bad. Pool was nice and clean. All facilities on site were spotless clean.

While passing thru this area the wk of 9/10/18 I looked this park up online then placed the call for a spot. Cindy took my call, I told her I was passing thru and needed a spot for a 28’ trailer for the nite. I told her I was a PA member, she proceeded to quote me $25 a nite. I questioned the difference with the online price vs what she was quoting and she stated those were smaller discounted sites that I couldn’t fit on. Remember I have a 28’ trailer so it’s not huge, I just felt like she wasn’t honoring the PA program as I’ve experienced at other parks. I then politely told her I wasn’t feeling the comfort with our conversation and that I was going to pass, she did apologize.

RV Park
This is a park, not a resort. It was clean, good facilities, pool, store etc. Smallish sites, but well maintained. Most aren't here for more then parking to vacation in the Black Hills. Great proximity to Custer S.P., Rushmore, etc. It is 20 miles back to Rapid City, restaurants and shopping. Road noise is always present.

Loud, and Cramped Up.
Small, cramped sites; I didn’t like having to park away from my camper. The site was too small for our truck AND travel trailer! There were some good things as well; friendly staff, convenient to Rushmore, and lots of scenic day trips.

Pretty much what others have said. Convenient to Mt. Rushmore and Custard park. Very few trees so shade is at a minimum.

Nice, But Muddy
Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, but the campground is undergoing a major expansion project. Mud was everywhere! The camp spots were very close together with the fire pits too close to the neighbors camper to use. Prices were somewhat reasonable but I do not agree with paying extra money for our children.

Cramped
Very busy, close quarters with your neighbors, right off a busy highway which does not slow down at night. It is basically a parking lot with nice amenities. Very little shade to speak of.

Avoid If It Rains
Very nice park. Facilities were clean. Staff was very friendly and made sure I got the perfect spot for my needs. Laundry was great. Pool was heated. All the spots were level and easy pull throughs. Just DON'T come when it's raining. It is a mud pit. Instead of working on the new bingo hall, they should concentrate on drainage and add more gravel to the parking pads and roads. Thick clay mud sticks to everything. Deep ruts everywhere. Would definitely stay here again, but not when it rained.

Here Come The Hollers
We stayed here 2 nights. Very nice rv park. Only about 20 minutes from Mt. Rushmore. Probably the most level space we've ever stayed at. Kinda tight spots. The pool was not heated when we went. The guy said waiting on part. The kids still had a blast. Very nice people in the office.

Pool Under Construction
So this place is a pretty standard tight fit park. Some the residents are permanently living there and have junker vehicles around their campers. The staff at the desk was super nice, but do not have your propane filled there... the guy they had doing it was fun long around for 15 mins trying to fill one of my tanks. When he got some (not filled) in it, he went to the second tank and forgot what he did to get it in the first tank... I recommended the propane company come back out to each the process again.

Exceptional place to stay. Feel like it's aimed towards older people whom have money. Upon arrival we were asked if we had reservations? We were on vacation who knew we needed reservations? After a briefing of length of camper, plate number, drivers license etc. we were settled in all to soon to be told it was five dollars more for each child we had. Nice place to stay about 15 minutes away from Rapid City.

Very friendly staff. Very helpful and took time to talk about all the areas attractions. Very clean showers, bathrooms and laundromat. Small, well stocked grocery store a few miles away. Also a Flying J half mile away. They can fill mounted propane tanks.

Very clean and modern. Nice pull thru spaces. Next to highway so a lot of highway noise but that is only bad thing. I would recommend specially for anyone on vacation and just staying few days.

Came in the off season so only paid $20/night which was a great rate. Staff was very friendly but the main office was closed most of the time. Not a big concern other then we would have liked to purchase some firewood. Laundry facilities were very clean and worked great. Train woke us up in the middle of the night our first night but didn't hear it the other two nights we stayed. Pool and hot tub were closed for the season. All the greatest attractions were under a 30 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay here and would come back if ever traveling through here again.
