Opportunistic

Much of Deadwood is built on tourism. This campground is no exception. Much could be done to improve the campground. Sites are barely big enough for the camper. Don't expect a lot and you will not be disappointed. One bright spot is the trolley to and from downtown.

Don't recommend even for one night

No maintenance campsite had Dog droppings everywhere. Bathrooms were disgusting and smelled badly. Absolutely no response to issues from the employees if you can find one. Wouldn't refund my two nights We didn't want to stay. Rude uncaring And sites way too small! No amenities whatsoever! Go anywhere but here!!!

Very Neat Place

We got three sites a row quite aways back in the gulch and it was beautiful. You can hike up the hill above and there is an old mine and info signs up there and get a whole viewnof the campground and deadwood it was beautiful! And full hook ups, sites were small but spent all of our time in Deadwood with the trolley.

Ok

The pool was not open due to a crack. Over 90 degrees there the day we checked in. We had no internet in the area we camped. Ok for 1 night but if we wanted to stay another night I would have gone to another park.

It’s Ok For A Night

The campground is on a hillside. Narrow roads, wind was whipping through the gulch most of the time. No Satellite because of mountain. Friendly people, no frills, but worked for an overnight.

Great Stay

Very nice.. trolley ride from park to down town dead wood.. great views.. Lisa park manager awesome people.. bathrooms could use some TLC.. but not to terrible.. Will definitely be going back..

Excellent spot if your spending most of your time in Deadwood. Sites are very small. Sometimes too small to have a fire due to how big your rig is or that of your neighbors. Great trolley service to downtown for a dollar a ride. WiFi is excellent.

$50 for off season - left. They close in 3 days! Plus road construction terrible. No stars!
