Couldn’t pass Up The Chance...
I’m an old time Laura Ingalls fan so I couldn’t pas up the chance to stay on the actual homestead of the Ingalls family. The 4 RV sites are level, gravel, long enough for a big rig (ours is 40 ft) have electric, a table and fire pit. There is nothing special about the camping but being on the property was a treat. The buildings are are kept unlocked and we could wander as we wished for no additional charge. I read two of the Little House books while there and it was great to visualize the exact places the events were happening.

We Should Have Stayed Here
We got here right as they were closing up. But we wish we would have planned ahead and got a spot here. It looks REALLY good.

Idyllic
If you plan to visit here, camping is really the way to go. W/E 30/50amp. Level sites. Fire rings, picnic table. Playground right behind the RV sites keeps kids busy while making dinner. Our admission was good for the duration of our stay. We were free to walk around the whole property after it closed. Observation tower was great for watching sunsets. Would stay again. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that there aren’t showers.

So much fun! We had kids ages 4yrs, 6.5yrs and 8yrs old with us and they love the homestead! The restrooms are super clean, the grounds are very well kept and the staff are beyond fantastic... My kids left crying because they are going to miss the cute little barn kitties soooo much. They loved the pageant and rope making and horse riding. This has become an annual summer destination for our family. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
