This is a beautiful campground with many things to do; kayak, fish, bike, hike, family activities (playgrounds, horseshoes, volleyball disc golf). Several historic sites to visit. Select your site wisely, weekends are crowded. We are camping with only a few sites occupied during the week in June. Access to the water is limited to boat ramps.

Awsome Park
So nice. Campground #1 is meant for smaller rigs. But#2 can accommodate any size. All back ins, with up to 50amps in each. Drinking water at dump station and at several spigots around the park. One flush toilet shower bldg in each campground. Sites are quite wide. Parking strip is graveled and fairly level. There are picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Lots of space between sites. Several interesting historic sites to explore in park. Very nice playgrounds. They also rent canoes, kayaks and paddle boards (if it's not too windy). The 36$ includes the 8$ park entrance for our toad. Quiet and dark at night.

Terrific State Park!!
Wow! This has to be the best State Park we’ve stayed at!! The sites are very large and 50 amp service. Camp ground 1 have great old trees for cover, while Campground 2 is more open and probably has better satellite views.
Water can be found at convenient drinking fountains with threaded spigots on their sides.
Very friendly staff and the sites were very clean!
Would highly recommend Oakwood Lakes State Park!!!
