This was a secluded and wooded park.. You are charged a separate fee to enter the park. There are paved trails for walking/biking. Overall very nice park. One downside is to get to the Souix River you had to climb straight down a 10 foot embankment.

Pleasant Stay
Nice clean park. Well spaced and tree shaded spaces. We sraynhere regularly as a good stopping point on our trips to the western National Parks.

Nice Area, Friendly Staff
We had a nice stay here, the sites are nicely shaded and the staff were friendly and helpful. Only two mitigating factors: 1. No water on site, electricity only; and, 2. You are charged an additional park entrance fee on top of the camping fee, which then makes it not as much of a bargain. There are private parks with full hook-ups for less.

Great Overnight Stop
We stopped for a brief overnight and wished we could have stayed another day. Sites are large and have lots of green space & trees between campers. 50 amp electricity on site. Dump station and clean water available at entrance. No sewer or water at individual camp site. Quiet & pleasant.

Beautiful park. Well worth the stay. Would recommend anyone in the area to stay here. Level spaces and plenty of space in between the lots. One of my favorites so far.

Great Stop!!
Beautiful Park! Easy jaunt off the 90.
Large sites with lots of trees! Nice bike trails. Great for a couple days or an overnighter! 1/2 the price of the KOA which is right next to the freeway!

Quiet Shady Spot
Big Sioux is a nicely kept campsite with excellent bathroom / shower facilities. Top notch. Nice camp sites with hook up. Quiet and close to river. Paths for walking and cycling.
