No More Shade Trees..
Was a five star...We use to love this campground, but over the winter they have cut down almost ALL the trees over the entire park. We felt like a cat on a hot tin roof! SEE THIRD PIC, lots of fresh tree stumps. No more deer, no more privacy, no more shade (only six or so good sites remain) They've planted hard wood which should restore the grounds in 10 to 15 years.

WOW, What a Gem!
We just happened upon this Campground while I was planning our trip from Texas to North Carolina. All the sites are nice, of course some are better that others. The double sites would be perfect for friends or families. Our site, 29, is a pull through. Easy access for our 34' 5er. Beautiful views, both sides, of the lake. Quiet and relaxing. 30/50 amp with water, no sewage hookup but there are several dump stations. Clean toilet and bathhouse facilities. We are next time the swim beach and play ground. It's too cool to swim though. I wish we had brought our kayaks, the lake is perfect for kayaking! We have decent cell service and our hotspot works great. TV via antenna pulled in about 50 channels, if you are an indoor camper. Easy access from I-85, just follow the COE instructions.

Another Great COE
Most sites are lake view or lake front. Water and electric at site. Very clean restrooms and showers. Dump station. Lots of trees.
