Quite Retreat

We were pleasantly surprised with this State Park. Clean and secluded, but close to stores and an hour away from the beach or Charlestown . Lots of small yappy dogs on our visit, and the layout exposes the front of the camper to the main road of the grounds. We will return.

Stayed in the Lake shore side oh the campground. Loved it. Plenty of room between sites. Lots and lots of trees for shade do I didn't even put up the awning. Clean but older bathroom/showers with plenty of hot water. Woods on the South side with plenty of old wood on the ground. Had no problem collecting firewood for a weeks stay. Very reasonable price. I WILL go back.

Very large campsites. Best state park campground in South Carolina.
