Not Kid Friendly
We camped here with our kids because we LOVE to bike the rail trail. Campground rules state kids can not ride bikes unless riding to or from the trail. Also, fire rings are in the open field across from your site and not on your site. We like to have a fire going all day if we are there but it was not possible. Not all sewer holes had caps, which we worried about with our toddler. Great location on the trail but won’t come back.

No Call Back
I’m sure it’s a very nice place. But I called early in the day and left a message to request a reservation. I had to call back several hours later to find out they were full. That’s fine but it would’ve been nice if they would’ve have called me

A nice park
My wife and I have stayed here several times now. We find it to be quiet and very pleasant. It is close to York, Hanover, and Lancaster, PA. The owner and staff are very pleasant and friendly. Rules are few and easy to follow. I highly recomend this if you want some play for a quiet and restful camping experience.
