Very quiet and clean place, the staff was nice and professional. They offer veterans and Good Sam discounts as well, I would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay
We stayed in a spot overlooking the river and loved it. We found the spots on the river quite large compared to many campgrounds. We have a 33 ft motorhome pulling a golf cart trailer (pictured Hurricane) and it was nice and roomy for us. There are full time and snowbird residents, but they're neat and tidy for the most part and doesn't take away from the charm of the park at all. Dick, the owner and his son Steve were great hosts. We really enjoyed hearing the story of how the park came to be. There is a dirt road leading up the side of the mountain that he mentioned we could hike up to. We loved it! He has 100 acres of real beauty. We played the 6 hole golf course which was well designed for the small area that he had to work with. It's more of a chip and putt, but we got to practice our short game. Overall, we loved our one night stay.

Good Campground For A Quick Stay
There were definitely things I liked and didn't like about this place. I'll start with things I liked. There's a nice 6 hole golf course that they take good care of. There's horseshoes, a rec room, which we didn't go in to, free ice, they take good care of their grass, it's clean, great view, pond on site for fishing. Overall, it's a decent campground. However, things I didn't like, the price. There's decent spots that are by the grassy area and are pretty good sized spaces. However, there not many along the grass. We had friends that got one of those spots. Our spot was pretty tight, not with the views and wa the same price as the really good spots. Seems like the prices should vary. Then, in our spot was a tiny grassy patch. It had 2 sprinklers and every morning they'd go off and soak everything sitting outside. Sprinkler literally sits 3 feet away from where you park your trailer. I suggest not having anything near the grassy patch and don't leave your trailer windows open at night.

Good Park
Very friendly staff and guests/residents. The park was well maintained and clean. Great view of the S. Umpqua River. You can walk down to the river and swim, fish, or put in a canoe or kayak. The spots that weren't on the river were a little close to each other, but still had some green grass and a picnic table. In talking to guests, it sounds like the park has a lot of fulltime residents, but you can't tell. Nobody has junk out, and the park was green and clean. We enjoyed wild life safari, which was only a few minutes down the road. We really enjoyed our weekend here!
