Close To The Painted Hills
We stayed here in July 2022. Thankful I had read the reviews to know what to expect. It was our maiden voyage with our RV so it was an experience backing into the very tight uneven space on the far right. The electricity in that spot was not wired properly so we had to use the site next door’s power and they bumped over the the one next to them. We were there to experience the Painted Hills and were thankful to find a place that had water and power. Mitchell is a quaint little town to wander through, like stepping back in time. We might have to stop in again.

Good Stop Close To Painted Hilld
4 sites. If you are large, back in from street. If you are class b or c this is ok. For travel trailer or fifth wheel you might fit 2 in here with 2 smaller units. Tight fit. Friendly and conservative. Service at brew pub so so. We were only ones today. I expect this place is rarely busy.

Hidden Gem
Stayed at this park in the middle of August 2020 during our visit to Painted Hills. There were total 4 or 5 spots but no other campers except us. Follow the sign “Mitchell Business Loop” on Hwy 26. You will see a park with playground and picnic tables. Go in there, and park at an open RV spot. Put your cash in the envelope and drop it into the box near the picnic area. This is a lovely quiet spot. Pleasantly surprised to stay at a decent campground. Not leveled well, but you can use leveling blocks. We miss that place and still talk about it.

Good Place
Price is $25 now. Power and water. Close to all of downtown (like 200’ close). Park is really nice. Bathrooms (flushing) are across street and really nice and clean. Beer at the brewery was a plus.

Small And Convenient
There are 4 electrical and water hook ups next to the town park and playground. It's self pay, $20. The bathrooms are across the street and are serviced (and used) often. We were the only ones there and the water wasn't turned on (too cold), though the electric box was in good order (30 and 50 amp). Would suggest nothing bigger than 25-30'. The creek running nearby was great. The small town with a couple cafes, new brewery and a grocer is easy to walk to - you're essentially in it.
