Nice Year Round Campground
Loop A and the dump station are open year round, loop B is seasonal. Be aware that the dump station is an added $10 fee for everyone, even registered campers.
Beautiful campground set along the river. Lots of open space with enough trees for beauty but open enough for winter camping without feeling gloomy.
Sites are level and decent sized, bathrooms are heated and clean, showers are typical old concrete block and tile floors, dark and a little creepy.
Firewood is available for $7 a bundle. It is dry but kept outside so it's damp and hard to start.

Beautiful Riverside Park
Well managed county park. Beautiful setting. Book online at https://linnparks.com/parks/waterloo/
I was able to arrive on a Sunday without a reservation and pay at the kiosk. Camp host advised me what was available.

Beautiful Spot!!
This campground is beautiful!!! Grass and trees everywhere. Spaces are a decent width apart so you don't feel like you're right on top of your neighbor. There is a beautiful river that you can hear. There is an off least dog park which is great!! We will be back for sure!!

This is the most beautiful campground! It is late October and even though is has been raining the entire time we have been here, the walking trails are beautiful, along the river is beautiful. Listening to the river while going to sleep, great!! Even listening to the rain while going to sleep is great!! I would love to come back here anytime of year!!
