Great place to stay. Super friendly people. Easy off and on from Lookout Mountain exit. Very interesting place with interesting people. Deer graze right next to your RV, and it’s an active gold mine with real recreational gold miners you can watch and talk to. Gold mine tours. They also rent equipment, furnish pay dirt, and instruction. Gold panning. The other experienced miners are quick to offer help and instructions.They usually have nightly campfires, you’ll hear some great stories if you choose. Pet friendly.

So many people have a fascination with gold mining. This camp is great for those that want to give it a try. There are miners on property all summer that are willing to share knowledge. Or, it’s a great place to spend the night if passing thru. Don’t let the closed gate deter you from coming in. It’s there to keep the cows out.
