Great Location... But.
Older looking park, but clean. Nice size back jn sites, fairly level. We were in site 31 right below hwy 101. Couldn't carry on a normal conversation around the campfire due to the traffic noise. Wouldn't stay at the west end of this park again because of the road noise. Might be better away from the road? Wifi was non existent.

Windy as Heck
Bring your kite! If you are by the river, it’s very windy and cool. Staff not very accommodating to us to relocate, and we were here for a week. Can walk to the beach which is beautiful. Facilities tired and in need of improvement. Sites provide decent spacing unless you have a larger rig.

Still Payed almost $50 with %15 Off
We reserved site 27, back-in. We used our Escapees card for a 15% discount but only received 10%. We asked because it didn't add up, she didn't want to deal with it. Site 27 is small and is against tall sheer rock, scary! (they have a sign warning about falling rock) The sites are old and have dry rot. The path to the beach is along a rock & boulder path, not safe. This is not a quiet, peaceful place as you can hear the traffic on hwy101 plus several people around us had 4 and 5 yappy dogs. Wifi is Very Weak. We would not recommend this RV park.

Great Place On The Coast
We just returned from Turtle Rock and we had a great time. There were 3 trailers in our group and we each had a different type of site. We had a pull-thru and site was plenty big enough. The fire ring was in an odd spot but we made it work. One in our group had a back-in along the river and it was nice. We will try for that next time. Our other friends were in a back-in with a spa. A little tight but the decking was great and the spa cleaned daily. Ate at the restaurant and it was nice. Overall a great place to stay, see the Rouge River and spend time at the beach which was an easy walk from campground.

Quiet Sites
We stayed here a few days in what they called a pond view site. It did not have a view of the river, but it was farthest away from the highway, was larger and more private. The park easy clean. We used the laundry which was fine. It is a good location for a walk to the beach and as a convenient location to explore the southern coast. We did not have a spa and there was no pool available, probably not the best park if you are traveling with children.

First... very pricey... from $48 for a not very level back-in site (with no fire ring or any fires allowed) to over $60. Among the highest in the Gold Beach area. And for that a pretty mediocre park... no pool, closed up hot tubs, unpoliced dog door in the grassy areas, etc. Its only good point is that it is a short walk from Gold Beach itself... very nice but lonely beach IF it's not windy. Then to top it off... I get up in the morning to take a shower, and it is COLD. Checked the other 3 showers, all stone cold. Had to get on the road so on the way out I stopped at the office to let them know... and to ask for some kind of discount on my 1 night stay. Nope. Nada. The manager said he "couldn't do it". They can sure charge folks plenty... but can't give even a little bit back. Needless to say, not returning here.

$504 For 6 Nights
I rented site #98. Hot tub jets did not work, you could barely feel them. The bbq provided was rusted on the inside and dirty. I did not use it. Unfortunately the staff did nothing to fix the hot tub nor did they offer to refund any money. They also did not honor the reserved price. They charged $50 extra stating taxes went up. This site was $90 a night with a hot tub that didn’t work correctly. They don’t enforce rules about dogs who continually bark. So if your dog loves to bark all day this is the park for you. There’s very little privacy between sites. My site was probably the most private there. It was very quiet at night with only a little noise from Hwy 101. However my site was not next to the Hwy. Short walk to the beach however you have about 150 yards of thick sand to get to hard-pack sand to walk on the beach. It wasn’t a problem for me but if you’re older it may be an issue. Not the worst park I stayed at but for the money they charge, I did not see the value.

Great Beach Access And Ammenities
Privately owned RV resort with adorable cabins, a bathhouse, a restaurant and bar with live music, and also easy access to a gorgeous beach right at Turtle Rock. The amenities include full hook-ups, Wi-Fi, and cable but the natural surroundings make the stop here even better.

First Time Visit
Nice park with access to the beach. New management, and they are making lots of improvements to the property. Have add a nice mexican restaurant that had very good food. Off Hwy 101 just south of Gold Beach, Oregon. We will be back again when visiting the southern coast of Oregon.

Quiet And Pleasant Stay
Grassy sites with a picnic table and fire ring. FHUs with basic cable and good WiFi. Didn’t use the facilities so can’t speak to that. There are new owners and they are making a lot of upgrades and improvements. One the Rogue River where it meets the ocean. Great walks on the beach. Stayed the allowed 2 days at the Passport America rate.

Great place to un-wind. Right by the beach, quiet and beautiful, exactly what we needed. Nice staff and cool club house.

This is a great place to un-plug. It's quiet and the scenery is unique. We rented a vacation house, it had a jacuzzi big kitchen and cable TV. You can walk to the beach or hang out with friends or family in the club house.
