Hemlock Lake

Nice little campground. Took our 25’ trailer and easily found a site. There’s multiple sites that will take that length of trailer and mods smaller sites. Lots of shade in most of the spots, easy walking distance to lake. We went on a wensday and the campgrounds and it steadily filled through the rest of the week and close to full on Saturday when we left. Lake is very nice. It’s on the small side but nice to paddle around on a kayak and warm enough to swim in. Also, no gas motors allowed on the lake so it’s nice with the kiddos not having to worry about being run over by a bigger boat. At night we beaches our kayaks and left them, no one disturbed them as many others also did this. The drive to the campground ends with about 15 miles of dusty gravel logging road and the last 5 miles being a steep grade. Negatives: mosquitos, lots of them. Limited number of larger trailer sites. No hookups or water spigots. We would visit again.
