NM TRAVELERS
This is our second visit to this RV park and Florence. This is a great park and the owners are very friendly and helpful. I hope to return again next year. It is one of the very best park experiences in 15 years of RVing!

Rude, messed up reservation that was made six months in advance, checked reservation a week prior all was a go. People in office do not comprehend how reservation system work, they have there own way. Rules, rules, rules, no bicyle riding, they don't seem to like kids. We had to scramble to find another RV park for one night ( their screw up, which they wouldn't admit). They said they could probably put us somewhere else, which is anther BS move on their part and my husband called them on that because they never gave us a site number during reservation they could of put the other people anywhere... unaccommodating!
When I asked about mooring my kayak, their response, "too busy over there"...maybe the managers should check out their own web site, because it's very accommodating! This place is not a do over for us full time RVers!

We really enjoyed the amenities they provide on the premises. The privacy between each site was both unique to see and was appreciated. If you are looking for a nice place to stay that also has direct access to the dunes, this is your place.

Next Door To Honeyman State Park
We stayed here for 5 nights. We found it quiet and the restrooms and laundry facilities are older but clean. The people who run the place are very friendly and helpful. The lake is across the highway from the RV park and has a small dock and fenced grassy area. This part of the Oregon coast is famous for the sand dunes, so expect ATVs to be coming and going up the trail to the dunes. It was very windy in the afternoons, but I this is often typical in the summer. The spaces are gravel but sand is in the air at times coming off the dunes. It's the beach! What do you expect? Some spaces are cramped for bigger motor homes. Nearby Florence is a fun beach town. Skip Mo's--not very good anymore--we liked Restobar in Old Town. Great golfing at Sandpines.
