Sites are level and not muddy even in January. Back ins are right on the river bank and face south to catch the sun. There is a launching ramp next door. Friendly and clean. Highway 38 may be the most beautiful drive in Oregon and is a great way to avoid Siskiyou summit in the winter

Great Spot!
First off, we will definitely be back. Beautiful site on the Umpqua River. It is clean, well groomed and our site was level. Easy hook up and glad it was 50 amps as needed the AC on due to the 80+ degrees when we rolled in. The check-in couple we're very nice and gratious.

Rude Host
Beautiful area we were so looking forward to staying at this park we have been looking forward to staying at this park for years finally got a camper on our maiden voyage go to check in and the lady asked me to come in with my husband had to park our car apparently parked in the wrong place the rudest post I’ve ever seen in my life came in and completely had a melt down on where I parked my car a simple hey could you move your car please would’ve been sufficient later found out he was the manager wow not sure who hires people like this but they need to rethink they’re hiring skills. The first 15 or so spaces are OK the back spaces are like they stuck a bunch of spaces together so you’re literally on top of each other you’re literally on each other’s spots very weird not the maiden voyage we were hoping for
we did however meet a lot of lovely people that were camping there
