Great Fishing

Wonderful campground. Little pricey but worth it. No Wifi. Minimal data reception.

Disappointed

My hubby & I were totally disappointed with our stay...the porta pottys were dirty, no toilet paper (I assume the hikers take it) the bathrooms by the storefront were a mess...looked like the hikers 'birdbath' in them...shampoo & soapbottles left on the ground...water all over the floors..thankfully we had our rv...no sewer hookups & they claim there is water within 100 ft of all sites...maybe but the hose doesn't reach the sites to fill our tanks...they also charge $15 for guests to dump tanks..oh & showers cost $2 for a 3 min shower.. we could not sit and enjoy the views of the lake in front of the store & restaurant because all the tables were taken by the hikers. We paid $200 to park our rv for 4 nights but could not enjoy the park... There are some shady looking hikers cutting thru the rv section of the park... I would not go back to shelter cove..

Scenic - Year Round Activities

Pros: Everything you would want in a campground, resort style. Clean facilities, roomy campsites, boating, fishing, hiking, store, cabins. Cons: $1.50 for a 3 minute shower. Must back in to RV dump.
