Pictures are not correct

Some of the reviews and pictures are of the Corvallis Mobile Home Park next door. Benton Oaks RV Park is located on the Fairgrounds property. Stay to the left of the cul-de-sac when entering.

Review For Fairgrounds Not For Oaks Rv

The Benton fairgrounds has an RV park that is NOT the same as Benton Oaks RV. The location shown on map is for the fairgrounds. I'm familiar with the fairgrounds during football season as it's close to OSU Reesers stadium. I would never stay is the Bento oaks. Fairground bathrooms are clean but are pretty cold late in the fall. It's no destination park but there are few options in the area. Nice oak trees and mowed lawns.

Not Your Vacation Spot

As i live nearby, did a drive-by to see if this could be a "stay-cation" spot... but it appears to be almost all long-term residence. As others wrote, this is right next to the fairgrounds, but it's hard to imagine there would be vacancies during fair time in the summer. Not an appealing destination IMO.

Great Birds, Tolerable Camping.

There is a colony of acorn woodpeckers here that are very entertaining! Showers are cold, spaces are crowded, some apparently full-time residents aren’t too friendly.

Campers Beware

We had made our full hook up reservations in Oct. 2015 and the office double booked over us for our 4/29/16 stay. When the host came to the site we were supposedly assigned, his attitude was there was nothing he would do and you will have to take what ever I give you. He was rude, cursed at us for not being appreciative of the downgraded spot he was giving us, and practically said hit the road if you don't like it. Needless to say we left. Would not recommend.

Not Bad But....

We don't mind the campground because we're in our motorhome so don't need showers but the cable TV is not clear and sometimes wifi is slow even when hardly anyone is staying there. That's so annoying especially about the cable tv. We come back though because its close to our son and his family. It's nice and quiet too.

We stayed at Benton RV Park 1 night. It is overpriced for what you get. It is connected to the fairgrounds and very run down. The laundry room is dirty and only 1 working washer. The showers were the dirtiest I have ever experienced and I was an over-the-road truck driver for 20 years. We were traveling in our cab-over camper..very disappointed in the facilities.,
