Tent camped Whitetail campground. No other tenters. Bathroom worked. Could use some attention. Park is on the chopping block so that could explain the lack of attention. Still acceptable at $14.

$22 a night semi premium, $30 a night for premium. Friendly rangers and office staff. We had our dogs. No pet issues except one. There are sand burrs every where. So, we didn't take them on the trails with us. The town is about 15 mins away. With anything you need. The town is a train town, though. In our trailer, you couldn't hear them. But outside at times you could. Lots of wild life to see. The bathrooms were clean. And the showers were clean. Showers $1,25 for 7.5mins. 23 Mar 18. Not many people on the spring hill side. The white tail side was packed. Overall, we would stop again.

We were here on July 25, 2017. Temperature was 100+ but had the whole Springhill campground to ourselves. The campground has some shade with decent pads and hookups. The rest rooms and showers are nice and clean. We will stop here again.

Great Area
Stopped here on our way to Denver from the gulf. Clean campground. Only ones there early January. Looked like it would would be a busy place in high season.
