Great State Park
Oklahoma invested some serious funding into the lodge, cabins and restaurant. We stayed at the old circle site, very private and secluded camp. 30/50 available as well as water and sewer, 10 minutes from restaurants and shopping. Endless campsites. Beautiful CCC buildings and dam. Lots of history in this park. Climb to Robbers Cave worth the hike.

Old Circle Site 31
Great site, level 45' with no one around you. A lot to do from great hiking, fishing, horseback riding, rental kayaks & water toys. 3 nights 4 days, great time. Our site had electric 30 amp, water 40# pressure, dump station on the way out, good access. Tent camping, yurts, cabins and currently renovating lodge. New restaurant on site, Swadley Foggy Bottoms, gift shop with groceries rv accessories and Wilburton short drive with eating and grocery options. A lot of families as it was Spring break week.

We'll Be Back
Such a fun place! The kids loved the woods, going hinking, seeing the cave riding bikes and much more. We only stayed the weekend but it was by far the kids favorite place so far.

It Was Good
Stayed in the Deep Ford campground 4 days. Hooked up to water & electric. We were right next to the bath house. I wouldn't say it's was the greatest spot. Very heavy traffiked area.
When we arrived on a Thursday, the trash at each camp site, esp the fire rings was excessive. Filled with left over McDs bags, beer cans, ect. The shoreline had bobbers, execss fishing line AND hooks the grandkids, dogs & every one had to look out for.
The hike to the cave was a very undeveloped trail (we loved it), kids enjoyed rappeling & climbing.
All-in-all, its a good natural park. Wish we had more time for horseback riding & a full hookup camp site (not by the bathhouse). Also wish people would take more accountability for their park & pack out what they pack in.

Camping
We have stayed here two years go and like it and we are going back this year and can't wait. We paid $25 a night for full hook ups. There is all kinds of things to do there while camping there. This is one of the best places I've been to so far.

Me and family love this place. Swimming in the lake there is like swimming in heaven.
