Nice Beach To Cool Off
Stayed here 3 nights. Washrooms ok , clean but dated .
The beach was nice to cool off in . Water level was low but great for swimming ๐โโ๏ธ.
Take a tour to Coffeyville ,Kansas if you have time to see Dalton Defenders Museum .

Nice Place
Bring several leveling blocks! The interior spots facing the lake are on a hill so the tongue of the trailer will be WAY off the ground(see picture, site #22). The sites ON the shore/cliff are on a hill also but the trailer tongue will be on the ground (see picture site #25). Not all sites are this bad but be prepared.

Our Stay At Hawthorne Bluff
I love this place! I canโt wait to go back. The lots are large and spacious, trees, showers and bathrooms are clean and a gorgeous lake.

Hidden gem
Hawthorne was we'll run and very clean. There were at least 5 camp hosts on site. The bath facilities we're very clean as was the rest of the park. Many sites have electric, but no water. There are hydrants for filling tanks but not every slip had one nearby. They take reservations, but max stay is 2 weeks. Waterfront spots are hard to get. The camp hosts do a great job keeping folks informed and enforcing the basic rules, such as quiet hours and no swimming areas. This is a nice campground less than 30 minutes from Tulsa.
