I normally only stop at Pilot/Flying J, and Loves as my 2nd choice. I pulled off at this exit to go to Loves on the south side of I40, it’s currently under construction. Thankfully the Okemah Travel Center exists, it was the nicest, cleanest, well-stocked place I’ve been to in a while. It looks brand new, I don’t know if it is or not. They have a lot of food, fountain drinks, donuts, etc all available. Plus the usual snacks and drinks. It’s very easy to get in and out, lots of room. I’m almost 70’ long when pulling the trailer so it’s nice to find a place like this. I’ll never go to the Loves on the other side of I40 even if they get the construction done, I don’t know how they’ll survive with how nice this place is. There is also a smaller gas station across the road that had McDonalds I believe, it looked like a real nice smaller gas station. Very easy to walk over if you need to. Glad I stopped, saving this as one of my preferred fueling spots!
