I’d love to say it’s a great place for full hook-ups but the main issue is that the majority the sites do not provide shade because the way they face. Some are so narrow that you do not have much room for anything and the sewer for the people next to you are basically right in front of you and you get no fire pit. There are however better sites on the east side with power and water only. Lots of shade, grass and picnic tables. Their are shower / bathrooms, 4 total and they are free. Trash cans available everywhere and the camp host is very friendly. We did not experience any loud groups or parties.

Not a family-friendly park on the weekends but cannot speak for weekdays! Lots of people partying at late hours and people driving fast out of the park as if they were intoxicated. Noticed a police officer scoping the bathrooms late night on weekend which was quite unusual.

There is lots to do in the park from fishing, boating, golf, and a playground. The grounds could have been mowed and cared for a bit better. $5 tent sites. Plenty of room to walk dogs and enjoy the scenery. Electric and water available for a number of sites. Primitive sites at the end along the lake. I was a bit nervous with it being within a mile of the penitentiary and work release program but it was a safe visit. Grass sites that were fairly level.
