Great for Relaxing.

My family had a fun and relaxing time here at Beachwood Acres Campgrounds. The owners do a beautiful job keeping up with all the flowers here! I would say that social experience here for all of us was quite pleasant, people were very friendly. Our boys made lots of friends and had fun on the playground swinging and playing. I did feel that the parks lots were abit small or tight. I also thought there pool was awesome and my kids loved it! I thought that the bathrooms and showers were okay. Cowen Lake was a walk away for fishing an kayaking and swimming. We drove to it and fished off the boat dock. I think that there is a lack of amenities here, however I thought that this campground is great for relaxation.

Not for me

The campgroup is small, sites are very small, packed in. Not something we liked. The nice sites are for seasonal renters. They do have a nice pool. Camp store does not have regular hours, But the few employees they have are very nice. They do have a game room but it was locked, we were told that they were not working. No other activities happened during our stay. Also the showers are coin operated, we did not use them.
