We made a reservation in April for July, and when we arrived, they didn't have our reservation. I was able to show them the payment on our credit card, and it all worked out. They are not computerized, just a spiral notebook. Our campsite was next to a tent with a sign written on a tarp - STONED, COME PARTY! The people staying there did appear to be stoned (or something). The permanent campsites were well maintained. The water is not drinkable and smelled. We did not use the bathhouse.

First Time Campers

We had a great first experience at Clinton Lake! The permanent people were so friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and there were activities! We would go back.
