Upon arrival we were given a different campsite than the one we reserved. The pull through space was given to someone else. We arrived and had no choice but to try and use the site we were given. Much smaller than our 30 ft camper needs. We had a separation distance in front from the road we were about 6 ft. Rear of trailer was about 15 feet and from our door to the next camper was approximately 20ft. However someone else’s sewer line was directly at the bottom of our main staircase. I did cover and conceal as best we could .
However we met some really nice people and they do offer water and sewer, we are used to state parks. Very child friendly and nicely maintained ( campsite had some trash cigarettes and small papers.

Up And Coming Campground
We stayed a weekend in early August 2020.
This park has a lot of potential if the new owner keeps reinvesting and listening to guests.
It was purchased in 2015 and converted from private to public. The previous owner had not made any improvements for a while so this new owner is playing catch up.
They just added the new aqua park inflatables on the swimming lake in July 2020 and ready to add more.
Indoor pool is a deal breaker for us in spring and fall months.
They have a challenge of getting the seasonal campers into one area away from weekend campers but that will take time and some capital.
You will need a vehicle or golf cart as the campground is large and hilly terrain between sections and attractions.
Overall this is a good campground that has a lot of potential to be a top player in the underserved Ohio Valley region.
We plan to return.

Nice Campground
We enjoyed our weekend here. Our site was small, but thankfully no one was beside us so it didn’t seem as bad. Our picnic table definitely needed replaced, but I covered it and it was okay. The ponds need better fishing access and cleaned up some around the edges. The pool was nice and big! We enjoyed a lot of time in it since it was so hot outside. The restroom facility was nice and clean, as were the shower facilities. The ice cream truck even made its way around, so the kids were thrilled about that! We will definitely come back!

Ok campground
Not a terrible campground, but not great either. You are constantly being yelled at for not having the daily wristbands on. This was a shock because they often forget to give them to you when checking in. The biggest surprise was a smelly one when neighbors arrived and their sewer hookup was literally 3 feet from my door. The owners said they don't have money to reroute sewer lines so we needed to deal with it. The place would be much better with different owners. It does have nice ponds to fish in though.
