Just Passing Thru
A overnight stop, booked online last night because it was a Friday and other option was full. Beautiful place. Tons of rules, which probably keeps it beautiful. $70+ a night. No outside firewood allowed, two dogs per site, electric on a meter on site , but no mention of paying, maybe for long term tenants. One of the nicer parks I’ve been to, trees, tables, fire rings, looks like lots of weekend clients from Cincinnati area.

Could Be Better
Where do I start. The park has gravel pads that every time it rains, there is wash out and trash that floods your site. Sites are not level. Some sites have decks while others are in the mud. There is a woman that drives around on a golf cart to harass you if you parking pass isn’t visible by her from a seated position on her golf cart. The laundry room smells like a chemical spill.
The area is beautiful. The location right off the interstate is ideal.
Like I said, could be better. Start by not harassing your paying customers.

Quiet And Cute
Great find for the night, grounds are clean, staff is friendly and spots are gravel and level. A great plus we barely had any mosquitoes around, it’s nice when you don’t have to bust out your mosquito karate kicking skills. Definitely a great spot and we will totally be back if ever in the area again.

Nice Campground
Nice play area fir the kids, fishing pond.
Well maintained, lush and green. Many pull thurs to make life easier.
You can hear the interstate road noise. It’s not that bad to pass this up.
Close enough to Cincinnati to do stuff.

Nice Place
This was our first time camping and we were happy to find someplace open the end of March. It's a nice property with trees surrounding the entire park so it feels like you are in the woods even though you are close enough to hear the highway. We were able to use the walking trail and the playground was a good size. Our pull through site (#48) was very level. Everyone there was friendly. Overall it was a good experience and if we ever come back that way we'd stay there again.
Reply from owner/manager: Thank you for the 5-star review, Linda! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and we can't wait to have you back.

Friendy Place
Stayed here in April for our first time campng in our new fifth wheel. The lady who took our reservation was very helpful and said we could practice parking in different sites since they were slow this time of year. When we got there she was very pleasant and made sure we got situated. The campground was pretty, lots beech trees and nicely wooded. We saw a swimming pool, large playground area, laundry facilities. It was April and a cold weekend with snow, so we didn't venture too far out and about. The rest rooms were spotless. We hope to go back.

Quiet, Good Layout
Stayed for three night's and found our pull through site to be nicely layed out. Conveniently placed connections. All gravel roads and sites varied in their levelness. Ours was acceptable yet we saw several that required quite a bit of leveling. We liked that the sites were widely spaced. Nice and quiet, even though its near the freeway. Nice playground for younger kids. Hiking paths. Fishing lake. Deducted one star as our site, along with the others on our row, were poorly graded. This made the picnic table and fire pit unusable as it was sitting in mud. It had NOT rained recently. Otherwise, a nice campground that we will return to in the future.

Very Nice
We stopped for one night on our way west. They were very accommodating for our late arrival. The owners were very helpful and offered us a free coffee when they heard we'd had a flat tire on our way there. The showers were very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Love This Campground
We've been camping here for 4 consecutive years. Absolutely love the peace and quiet and the cleanliness. Owned by a former US Marine, so it's no surprise he has high standards.

Doggie Discrimination
Passed this place up due to the rudeness of an employee expressing concern about allowing my "vicious" pitbulls to accompany my family camping for one night! Ohio has removed this breed from the vicious breed list but for some reason this campground feels the need to discriminate. We have stayed at several KOA and other kid based campgrounds and have never seen even a concern from employees. Our two pitbulls have been welcomed into camp stores, off leash dog parks, as well as wineries with no questions asked. Our 3yr old somewhat rambunctious male, Waylon, doesn't even need to be leashed around other dogs or ppl. He is very loyal to his family and obedient. The nation wide discrimination against a misunderstood breed really erks me, as you can see! Please join me in refusing to use this campground!
