Nice Lunch Stop

Just needed a place to stop and have lunch. (Traveling with a 16 year old dog and 4 year old son)....this place, as someone else said, is super clean. Would stay here (at the campground next door) for the night if I wasn't so far from home and needed to make more time. Nice lake and walking paths. Huge pavilion to eat under. Bathrooms....staff around to keep it clean.

Lots Of Trees

A beautiful, quiet, peaceful place. Only negative was there were no pull-thrus, and we had to unhook our tow dolly. The space was very unlevel, but we like our head higher than out feet! Haha. Bring levelers for sure. We saw frisbee targets, horseshoes, and a large cover with tables underneath for large parties. They have group sites and individual sites. We had elec. only, but they have sites with water as well. You save a few bucks if you dont need water. Lots of space between most sites. For those with solar, they have sites without trees also. We will definitely again.

This is our 5th year coming here won't be the last... .it keeps getting better and better...the staff is. Second to none

Amazing Facilities!

We booked it online for 3 nights over the weekend.There are full hookup sites with concrete pads and then partial hookup sites available with gravel and lots of shade. The park is well maintained. They have some of the best shower and laundry facilities I’ve ever encountered at a state park. The GPS was off so look for signage to the campground entrance. There isn’t a grocery store in the area so plan ahead. The staff was super helpful.

Nice Place

Reasonable campground staff will provide equipment for horseshoes, shuffle board, corn hole and disc golf. Friendly staff. On the weekdays it seemed pretty quiet and calm. I'd visit again. They are doing a damn project that has closed a number of the trails around the lake.
