Complete Gem

This campground is “walk up” only meaning it’s first come first serve. We came during the week and had plenty of choices BUT people were dropping off campers for the weekend starting Thursday morning. The pads are concrete and level. The bathrooms were very clean as well as the dump station. There is a lovely swimming lake that opens at noon. This park is a series of 15 connected parks across a 3 county system that are all connects by a 14 mile trail. We just pulled in for the night while passing through but we all said this is a park we would love to spend some time at. Firewood is available on site for $10.

Perfect Gem

We found this little gem by accident. If you find any fault with this campground, you are not a camper. Coming from Florida, we stopped for the night and wished we could stay forever! Love it!!

Great County Park

All walk-up 3 handicap w 50 amp 3 pull thru w 50 amp All the rest are 30 amp. $25 (senior discount $5 so $20)

NOT 50 Amp sites....

Website says 50 Amp minimum, however, there are only 3 50 Amp sites. All of which were taken by 30 Amp RVs and a tent. Ok place, but if you are looking for 50 Amp, you will likely need to look else where.

Very nice. Bathrooms very spacious and clean. Bike trail from the campground goes for miles along the river. Sites were large. Bring a long hose for your water hookup our was 50 ft and we needed at least another 20 ft. The host were friendly and helpful.

Nice and level sites, well maintained, quiet. Nice bathhouse with vending machines. Make sure you have more than 25ft of water hose as the hydrants are kind of far away.

Paved and level sites. Firewood avail for a $10.00 fee. Not much shade. Clean showers and rest rooms. One dump station. Weekend events. Large swimming lake with sand beach.
