Loved this place and the owners. We broke down 10 miles from here and called at 9:30pm and got the owner. He arranged for our camper to be towed to the campground (very reasonable price). We have a back-in site overlooking the large lake, and have seen wonderful sunsets over it each night. It's quiet, well kept, and every guest we met has been friendly. Honestly couldn't ask for a better experience. Will definitely come back!

Not A KOA
This place is no longer affiliated with KOA. It’s now called Twin Lakes. Our site was level with plenty of space. The place was fully booked but it was quiet. We could hear I-75 from our site, but it wasn’t terrible. There are two ponds - one for fishing only and one for swimming only. The beach area was very clean - looks like they groom the sand every day. There’s only 1 restroom, but it was very clean and the showers were very nice. We saw many people fishing.. talked to a few and they were catching bluegill and bass. We stayed here to visit family in the area and had a great time swimming. We enjoy hiking and biking more than swimming and fishing, but the next time we’re in the area to visit, we’ll be back. Because no one else was checking in to our site we were allowed to stay past the normal check out time and enjoy the pond one last time. Very much appreciated, since it was Father’s Day.

Never Again
Have stayed here for about 4 years as it is close to family but never will again. We arrived the Thursday of Mem Day wknd 2017 around 5 pm after traveling 389 miles to find a pipeline worker and family still camped on our site, cooking dinner. Lady at check in said she didn’t know what to do about it. We ended up waiting on the road for about 90 minutes while the owner finally informed them they had to move. No offer of a free night or even taking the site next to us which was identical. Upon leaving the family dumped all of their grey water into the grey gravel pit, causing it to overflow and completely flood our gravel pad. Friday evening around 11:30 pm we were awakened by the state and city police and county sheriff arresting at gun point the folks occupying the cabin next to us. They all returned to their cabin the next day, and were allowed to stay another night. Didn’t really make us feel too safe. Extremely loud and rude people in mostly permanent sites.
