We are actually staying at Sauder Heritage Inn. I spoke with Steve the manager of the Inn and he said I could charge my Chevrolet Bolt EV here since there were not many campers in November. I really appreciate the hospitality. Perhaps next visit Sauders will have destination chargers for vehicles.

Will return many times. Great weekend getaway only an hour from home for those spur of the moment trips

I Don’t Get It
I don’t understand why this place is so highly rated. Our site didn’t have shade, sewer or WiFi. Don’t say there is WiFi when their isn’t WiFi. It didn’t work at all. The park tried to fix it but on a Saturday night there was no hope. This place is reasonably prices. The staff was nice. But even for an overnight I’ve stayed nicer places.

While on the road to PA, my wife and I decided to check this place out for a night. Wow!!! This place is fabulous. We, and our kids love it here so much, we changed our plans to stay here again on our way back. Ton of things for the kids. Pool is great, shower house is clean, splash pad, biking, little fishing lake. RV sites are level, clean and spaced great. We’ve always stayed at different places to experience different RV parks. This one we’re breaking the rules and coming back! Employees are very nice! Military discount! Thanks all for a great experience. See you in a few days!

Family Fun
Very nice place. We have visited Sauder Village many times and I'm glad we decided to try the campground. There are many full hook-up sites. My daughter really enjoyed the splash pad inside the campground. Nice playground, fishing pond, and firewood for sale on site. Campers have access to the pool and hot tub at the Sauder Heritage Inn that is on the same property. Also on the property is the actual Sauder Village, The Barn restaurant, and the Doughbox bakery. During our stay, we really enjoyed watching a folk singer and storyteller named Bob Ford in the lobby of the Inn. The only downside to the whole experience was that the campground is fairly new and therefore had small immature trees, so not much shade. We'll definitely be back!

Huge lots, reasonably priced, nice splash pad for the kids, pet friendly, great fishing (no Ohio license required). Sauder Village is a nice place to spend the afternoon. The Dough Box bakery has the best doughnuts I've ever had!

This is a hidden gem! Recently expanded with full hookups, large level spaces and lots to do in the area. We'll be back! Camped in a large motorhome with room to spare.
