Serene Place
Fort is great quiet place to explore or just sit and watch the Missouri River flow by. Clean bathrooms and showers and decent prices

Very nice park, unfortunately you have to pay almost $6 booking fee, $7 per day use fee and any tours are $8 per person. Becomes a little high for not having full hookups.

What a nice State Park. One of the better ones.
We enjoyed river side camping in a beautiful camp ground. Some great history there and a restful stop...

Great campground overlooking the Missouri River with the state capital building off in the distance. Very well kept. Historical buildings nearby. Courteous staff. Electric and water but no sewer. Dump station available. AT&T cell coverage @ 3 bars. Good reception of broadcast tv stations. The only negative which is easy to overcome is their water and electric are strangely situated away from each other. I had to use my extensions to make it work. As I said, this is minor, just make sure you have the appropriate extensions.

Fort Abe Lincoln
Beautiful state park. The only issue we had was that the electric and the water were very far apart from each other. We had to find a spot where our water hose could reach the facet. Across the street from the park is Custers home and the Mandan Indian village on a slant. Very interesting. The campground is close to Bismarck.

Great park. Tons of spots.. including drive-thrus. Well kept. We came early in the season and because of the beautiful weather, they turned the water on early. Enjoyed our stay.
