Beautiful state park

Stopped for 1 night. Not long enough. I definitely want to return and enjoy all the hiking trails. Lots of trees and very quiet.

Turtle River Campground

Great park, clean, with lots of walking/hiking paths. Great shower rooms & toilet blocks. Camping spots were nice, easy to navigate with shrubbery between most spots giving some privacy. Park staff were friendly, resourceful & helpful when we had an issue with a broken vent cover. Will be going back

Camping , Hiking & Biking

Stayed here over the weekend. It was a pleasant surprise. Clean and accessible camping spots. We have a travel trailer that pulled right in easily and hookup for water and electric. Staff was accessible for questions. Used the fishing equipment provided by the ranger station to fish the stream. There are allot of Paved roads for biking and nice hiking trails all over the park. It is bigger then we thought and very well kept. Ranger station even had events for the kids. Loved it and will be back for sure.

Park pass $25 all state parks camping $25 night all sites flat most pull through have elect and water at sites. Tall trees clean new bathrooms. Very quiet. Nice paths. Dump station. 30/50 amp. Fire rings. All in all very nice

Site Review

Nice state park a few miles off of Highway 2 in North Dakota. This was a pass through site on our journey West so we only stayed one night. Not many campers in September so it made it private and quiet. Our site was a pull through with water and electric. Good water. Clean site with a nice picnic table and fire pit with grate. Shower and facilities were very nice and clean. Would stay again.
