Love this Place!!

We have been camping at Surf City Family Campground every summer since 2011! Before that we camped here in the 1980s with our kids! Before that my husband came here in the 1960s!! This place is one in a million!! If you LOVE the beach this is paradise!!!

Beach Combers Delight

Great location. This is a small quaint CG. If you are accustomed to the the big mega beach campgrounds with concrete pads and all the amenities, this is not for you. However, if you love the beach this is for you. The staff is very nice. Spots are close. Peace and quiet. Our spot only had electric and water. We only stayed a couple of nights so no issues with using our tanks. All in all a nice spot to relax.

RV Camping

Great time with family, very friendly owners and make you feel welcome like family. Very reasonable and great beach access close to campsites. No cable TV however many free local channels. Spent a week and was to short of a time.

Truck Camper

I love Surf City worked there for 20 months can get enough. Great campground keep coming back . The family has it under control. Nice little store. Bathrooms a little warm but functional.

Great Location

Great location, great owners, great hookups, spaces are tight but it’s worth it for the 300ft walk over the dune and being on the beach... there are some permanent sites and I felt some were upset when newbies or visitors came for the weekend but overall great stay and I will be back !

Small, Quiet, and a Few Steps to Ocean

I really enjoyed this Campground. There aren't a lot of sites so it's quiet and comfortable. Cute little bathhouses and a small store for those must-have items. There is an elderly man who rides around on a bike as security. Walk right up the ramp over the dunes and you're on the ocean! What more can you ask for?? Enjoy!!
