Bad Experience / UnSafe
Nice park, but Bad experience, because there are now Full timers there that are very scary and on / using drugs. When we first arrived, one of the guys followed, stalked and harassed us, all over the park, for 5 hours.
When we finally decided to Leave at 10pm, we pulled across the road at Brannock's Exxon for diesel fuel. After fueling up, I inspected the RV, and was getting back into the truck, when the guy that previously followed us had ran out of the park, and started walking right beside the truck, stopped on the sidewalk, and starred like an ax murderer or something.
When we pulleded out going south, he walked and ran in the same direction!
Terrible Experience!
Two years ago, we had a nice experience. A lot has Changed since then!

Quiet, Relaxing, Picturesque
Arrived on a Friday afternoon to find only one Class C and a single tent camper for a beautiful 72+ acre, immaculately kept & grassy park. Paid $10 at the honor box and parked anywhere on the expansive grass lawn and enjoyed the heck out of the privacy. There are water & 50Amp hookups if you need. Cute little town of Mt. Airy, NC, the hometown of Andy Griffith and the model for TV’s Mayberry. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the neighborhood.

Update
Spoke with Gary, Gen.Mgr. who says they offer full hookups for $35 or dry camping for $10 in a large unmarked “make your own site” area.
