Location
Gets 3 stars only because of location, right off Blue Ridge Parkway. We have been staying for the season for a few years now and here is our observation: It's fine for a long weekend stay. The place was sold a few years ago and the new owners are all about making money and not putting any into the place. Very few sites are level. You have to run the water until it runs clear do to rust in the pipes. Replaced our filters numerous times! Over the 4th of July weekend, the sewer backed up and we had to deal with the smell. And they raised the Seasonal rates this year! Also, Seasonal campers are charged for the dumpsters located at the entrance and have to take the trash down there themselves... doesn't seem quite right now does it!

Awesome Campground.
It's directly off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The grounds ar expansive and even include a nine hole disc golf course.

Awesome Campground
We went there for a musical festival. A couple hours of winding roads to get there, but worth it. Mostly monthly and seasonal RVs, who were gone during the week. We plan to return for a month next summer.

LOVE IT!
We've been there twice on holiday weekends and had a great experience both times. Cool air, wooded lots, friendly campers and Saturday night BINGO! Right off the Blue Ridge Parkway with close access to plenty of sights. Will go back annually.

Campervan
Beautiful park, with the exception of a few long-term sites that look pretty junky. Folks that checked us in were nice. Bathhouse was not heated, and it was very chilly weather. Trash disposal inconvenient, with only receptacle located at the entrance to the park.

Awesome Service And Great Staff!
Came in late, called ahead to let them know. They said we could go to our site and check in 1st thing in the AM. Pulled in about 10:00 and coincidentally a group of people were at the front. Very welcoming as they waved at us. A couple nice guys followed us to our site without even being asked. Help us back in and welcomed us. Come to find out was one of the owners. The woman who helped us check in the next morning was so sweet. Feels like family. Everyone here is pleasant. Quite and private sites. Love it and will be back!

Nice Campground!
We were fortunate to get a site here for Memorial day weekend. Last site, but it was fine. Most are pretty shady. Electric didn't work at first, but someone came right out and had it working in no time. Friendly staff, friendly neighbors too. They have a field where the kids would play baseball in the evenings. Cabins look nice but didn't go in them. The store has what you might need, and they had a great church service that we attended. Its close enough to home for us that we will visit often.
