Location, Location, Location
Located just across the Railroad tracks from downtown. It was a muddy mess during our visit. The lot was level and full hookups functioned well. I didn’t like reach into a two foot deep Pitt to reach the hose bib. Good place for a copper head. The town was quiet, almost deserted. Probably my last time visiting Hot Springs.

$50
The only Positive here is location
Small, poorly marked (if at all)campsites. All dirt roads,a few paved sites. Poorly maintained and overly priced, only plus is the fact that it's by the river. Way overpriced.,paid $50 last January. Only one other camper there. Had planned to stay 2 nights but too pricey, esp for that time of the year. Go to rocky bluff that is off the 9 instead.

Camp ground was ok. Grounds unkept and garbage dumpsters all full. No employees on grounds. Fresh water hook up was right next to the sewage hook up. Didn’t risk using the water hook up. Over priced to stay here although it was beautiful there. Easy access to river. Lots of rafting and tubing outfitters. Town is quaint and the food is great. Visited the hot springs and booked a wonderful soak. We would come back to this little town again because of the Beauty and scenic drive.

There were two red flags I should have paid closer attention two: First, they have a rigid cancellation policy - two weeks. Second, you have to pay, in full, upfront. The grounds were unkept. The WiFi did not work. It was virtually impossible to get someone to answer the phone at the front desk, which was across the street from the RV park. The sites were not laid out nice.making it
difficult to locate them. There was no orientation to the park. We had to go to the front desk to figure out what to do with our trash. And, they are overpriced ($50.00) per night for what you get. Town is nice and river behind the park is nice. Cabins and tent sites are also offered. Bottom line - this is not a resort and spa. It’s an overpriced average RV park.

The campsite was very nice and the river behind the sites were very peaceful and great trails nearby. The drive up there with the 34 foot trailer was not that bad the roads were winding but for the most part you just had to drive slow.

Nice Location
Pros: very nice people, near the FB River, closest cg to Max Patch, neat little town within walking distance, lots of trails nearby, some privacy in your spot (depending on which one you get), full hookups
Cons: poor signage, so little hard to find your spot, no cable, no WiFi, no Verizon or ATT service, 4 WLOS channels are all you get.
But hey, it’s camping so these are not real negatives anyway, right?!?

Great Place For Hikers
The site was confusing to locate travel trailer. Wifi was poor. Verizon Cell phone was fine. Utilities worked fine although the electric was touchy the last day and the whole town was out of of service for a day due to lightning strike nearby.
The town is quaint and is within walking distance. several good places to eat. Went to the spa for the mineral bath. Should be called warm springs not hot.

A Family friendly campground
I love this campground!!! We have stayed in a tent, car, pop up, and a 5th wheel. They have all types of accommodation even small cabins to large houses. Don't forget a soak in the natural hot spring across the street. They are small little shops and restaurants down the street.
