$28
North Carolina Mt Reteat
Camped in loop B. Mix of tent and rv sites. Most have tent pads removed from parking spot. Many have steps accessing the pads. Seems to be well maintained. Bath house and showers available. No electricity that I saw. Paid $28 for a tent site which seems a little high but for the time it's in line with many other campgrounds. Awesome lake view!

We recently stayed at Jackrabbit Campground. We booked online with provided pictures of the site. Now this is were it earned it's a two star rating. I found Jackrabbit campground to be a wonderful primitive Campground. Where I find problems with this Campground is for RV campers. There are maybe eight sites that are suitable for RV's. This is not reflected on the online market. To make matters worse the site you are shown may not be the actual site/stock photos. The majority of sites are set up for tent camping. They are broken up, one parking spot and a pad that are inaccessible to a car or RV. The camp host was extremely unwilling, eventhough 2/3 of the park was empty, to change sites. To the point of calling the forest ranger. Don't expect the customer is always right. My recommendation is to look before you book or expect to walk to your camper to your site.
