$$New Owners Are Great Hosts
This is our first stay at Cardinal Ridge and it is everything an ordinary, corporate-owned RV park isn't. When we arrived we were met by Jennifer and Jason, the new owners. They led us to our site and helped us position "Alice," our 30' Airstream Classic. We have never felt this welcome. I hesitated to do this review because I selfishly want Cardinal Ridge, Jennifer, and Jason to be our secret. The first thing we did on our first morning is make a reservation for our next trip with Alice.

Not what It's advertised as
If you put a $250,000.00 motor coach here then you are dumber than a rock. Not a level site in the place. Kenny tried to put us in site #7 and my TT would not fit. This place is a joke and if you go you will see for yourself. Folks must have been paid to post the other reviews or they are fake. We were very unhappy with site #7 we went somewhere else.

No other place like it. Kenny and Kathy truly become your friends. The sign reads mountain retreat and that is an understatement. Beautiful trails to hike, watching the animal feeding in the evening, relaxing with them and other campers during the day and making lasting friendships. You must experience this at least once and I guarantee you will return on.

All Comments Are Spot On
Really not much more to add to all the other comments posted. Cardinal Ridge is a true gem. Owners/ hosts Kathy And Ken are as nice and helpful as can be! It is so relaxing to just sit back with a glass of wine and watch the wildlife. Peace and quiet. We will be back!

My first time here and i will be back many more times. Ken and Kathy are very humble and gracious oweners of this lovly property. They care very deeply about their guests and allow you to see first hand their deer (fawn) rescue facility. Ken makes you feel welcome with a tour of the property and of his many interesting hobbys or passions in the way of radio controlled airplanes. Watching Kathy and Ken as they provide support for each other as they go about the day is inspiring. There is so much more to say but i will end by saying God is good all the time and these folks are a blessing to meet and share a story with. Thanks until we meet again.

Hospitality
Hospitality here is undescribable. Welcome signs with our name, personal tour of private property, and the gentleman owner even let us check out his Italian car collection. Quiet, peaceful, great views, brand new gazebo for sunsets. Very dog friendly. Free laundry service. There are three secluded sites up the mountain a bit for an extra price, site 4 is the most secluded. You need a 4x4 to get you there. But honestly, if you like meeting new people, and love a hospitable visit with the owners and others RVers, the sites below are just as nice and some have even better views. Each site has nice picnic tables or metal round tables and chairs with umbrellas. (Um, hello, who has that?) The property is simply gorgeous, well maintained, with some farm animals. Domestic chickens and ducks, wild turkeys everywhere, and a deer feeding every night. Lots of great antique shops nearby. Ridiculous. We'll be back.
