It was a mud hole. Sewer was 50’ . Most campers towing will not be able to hook to the sewer. I have stayed at a lot of KOA Campgrounds and this not up to par with others.

Memorial Day Weekend

I felt i was lucky to find a site on short notice for memorial day weekend. So i packed up the family with a couple of grandkids and headed out. Upon arrival i was told that the pool was not open and was under repair. It did not appear that this was a new discovery, no where on the web site was it noted that the pool was closed. The mens room shower was also under repair and could not be used. Looking at reviews it appears to have been "under repair" for nearly three weeks. Again nothing on the website about this. They do have a playground, the equipment is old but functional. There is no where at the park for parents to sit. The place just appeared to need up keep. My fire ring was literally 5' from my neighbors camper. So it was out of the question to use it. Staff was friendly and this is a very convenient stop off of I-95. Not a great place for a family to spend a weekend.

Called for availability, listened to voice mail explaining the policy for after hours availability. When we got there, there was a man on a side by side blocking the entrance and said we couldn’t stay if we didn’t have reservations. Had to turn camper around and head back to the highway.

I thought all KOA parks had standards they had to meet. It was not what we expected, no cable tv, roads in poor condition and WiFi that was very poor. We won’t be staying here again.

Very convenient to interstate 95. Friendly staff, clean restrooms and showers. Level sites, reasonable size. Very pretty,quiet campground. Stayed 2 nights. Will be back.

Ok KOA

Convenient location off 95. Decent spacing of sites. Not a lot of frills here more of a "stop along your route" type place. Ok bathhouse, dated playground for the kiddos. If in town check out brewery district in Rocky Mount. Surprising fun spot.

Very Quiet

Out in the country. Easy on/off I 95. Dirt and gravel pads. Sites are not huge but fine for a stopover. Very pleasant to sit outside and relax.

Great Stay

We stopped for one night. It was clean and quiet. Check in was a breeze. The lady we talked to about an after hours check in was very pleasant. We'll definitely remember this place when we're passing through again. Thank you!

Awesome Stay!

Pulled in for a one night we but will definatly stop again! Very clean and quiet! Owners are wonderful people! Beautiful pool though it was too late for us to use. Bathrooms were impeccable!
