Just got back from a weeklong trip there. The grandkids loved it. Lot of sightseeing in the area. Some things closed due corona. Still had a blast. Would stay the again.

On The River

Our second visit after 2 years and were just as pleased as last visit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and roomy. We stayed on a river site and enjoyed the entire week. Fishing was great. We will return.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The riverside lot we got was level and clean. The cell phone signal (Verizon) is almost nonexistent but the WiFi is top notch. We will be back.

Had a great time. Fishing was good while we were there. Staff was very helpful with a problem we encountered with our rig. Plenty if kid activities for the young and old alike. I thought this place would be corny but was proven wrong.

Mom

The campsite was nice. The employees were very helpful. We had lots of fun painting ceramics and making Mardi Gras masks. Shower houses were clean and well maintained. Showers hot and inviting! When we made our reservations we had two campers and a cabin. We camped with my disabled father, mother and my brothers family had the cabin. They were very accommodating when we requested side by side sites near the bath house and next to my brothers cabin. Had a blast and were able to walk out of the cabin right up to our campers. Overall these folks really made our family trip a possibility with their willingness to work with us. Would definitely go back!

Very Average

The location is out of the way and takes a half hour to get into town. The access road (not part of the camp) has some very servers speed bumps. Everything at the rural site worked - water, electricity, sewer, and cable. The WIFI was fair quite intermittent. Cell phone coverage was poor. The maintanence staff was very helpful. However a couple of nights the bath house had no lights and no hot water nor did the heat work It is a quite, peaceful, scenic place on the river and the price was right

We loved it here. Lots of activities for the kids .
