Camping In Cherokee NC
If your looking for friendly people this isn't your park. Check end was 1 o'clock. I Arrived 15 minutes early. Was charged extra 5 dollars .When you're driving few hundred miles away hard to be .Spot on time its a cash only park. Are spot was B6 40 foot coach are rear was hanging over a steep bank. No place to park the tow vehicle. At your site . It's a one time deal. Here at this campground. Not all bad. Shade full hookup. Cable Tv.

Class A 38 It’s a campground. All cash for sites. Make sure you ask how much it’s going to be including the tax. Amount they told us it would be didn’t include tax so we had to go out and look for more cash. Campground is clean. People like to tie their dogs out to bark. Guy who takes you to your site was pretty rude. No cell, no satellite, bad cable, hardly any wifi. Surrounded by campers no one stays in. The river was pretty. Place was just ok.

A Great place to camp.
This campground is the closest to the Great Smokies NP and the southern entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It has all the amenities need to enjoy your time in Cherokee and the surrounding mountains. The constant roar of the river makes for a wonderful setting.

Amazing and beautiful! Super friendly staff, immaculate clean showers and rest rooms. Quiet and the sites were beautiful next to a trout stream. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Best Around
It was nice to find a great surface to park motorhome on. Full Hookups incl. WiFi and Analog Cable. Sound of River Rapids right out the door (good sleeping). Spent prior week in Pigeon Forge which is like man-made amusement park mega-center. (Never again). P S. Newfound Gap Road Tunnels and Road are fine for 13ft high RV with toad. (yes, cash only)

Sweet Campground Along River
Nice campground. Pretty sites along river plus a good many typical parking lot sites. Wifi, cable, water, electrical, sewer .A bit expensive but probably because it was the best campground in the area that we could see. Friendly staff. Bathrooms are worn but nice hot water in the showers. Large rigs no problem.

This campground is really nice and organized. People are friendly. Restrict rules but that's what makes the best place for your camping time. I recommend to everyone enjoys peaceful and relax time by the river.

Beautiful setting
"A" loop waterfront W/E, picnic table. Fire rings on this loop are rusted out and nearly unusable. Unable to connect to wi-fi, and area is so remote there's really no cell signal. But the river is beautiful and stocked with trout twice a week, fish right from your campsite. Drive or walk to the camp store on the hill above for gas, ice, firewood, kerosene, or fishing gear and food. Bathhouse is clean and spacious.
