Potential

We stayed a week and wish we would have left after the first day. Sad thing is, this place has so much potential. It’s back in the woods with a beautiful lake and swim beach, but the campers here are full time and live in horrible conditions. We were given a list of rules by a nice enough couple, problem is that they broke at least 3 of the rules themselves. If the owner of this property would just enforce the rules, more than half of the campers would have to leave. It’s a real shame that there isn’t much for camping around Southern Pines and Pinehurst. We won’t be back to this campground and it’s a real shame.

We were going to stay for a week, BUT it was so nasty and rundown that We left the next day. Dogs running loose and barking all the time. Loud music and people drinking/yelling. The water was brown and hardly coming out the pipes! Trash all over the place. I can’t believe this place is still open to the public!! Don’t waste your time coming here.

Rough

In really rough shape. They are not keeping it up anymore. We stayed there and they have dogs running lose on the property. Water is filthy and brown. Really rough.
