Great...Not So Great!

The good - The camp ground had a number of activities for younger children. The Bad - Camp sites were too close to one another. The Bad - WiFi was basically useless and important to me as I had no cell service in the area. With the other camp sights being so close we were sitting in smoke when we were outside 99% of the time due to the slight winds. Not fun. The Bad - No cable tv

Fun Weekend

Great campground. We are 40’ 5th wheel, and 3 slides. Slightly tight getting around, however staff and everyone extremely nice and helpful. We lost a taillight lens on the way in and someone dropped it by the campground. The folks there rode around until they found us. We will go back.

Had a blast here and close to the zoo. Friendly staff. Definitely will be back

Near The Zoo

Fun family campground. There's a lot for the kids to do. I like the lower section but it doesn't have sewer not a problem they have a dump station you can hit on your way out. The rates are not bad for all they offer.

Zooland

We used this as a hub for our weekend at the Zoo. We did not use alot of the amenities such as the playground, dogpark, swimming pool (it had not opened yet), game room, etc as we were gone during the daytime. We were very happy with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facilities. My only complaint is the mud that was at our site. There has been a large amount of rain this week so with grass sites, mud was almost inevitable. It might not hurt for the owners to explore options of putting down gravel on the parking-pads to reduce the amount of mud present. Would recommend and return again.

Great facility. Staff are super nice and helpful. Clean and tons of things to keep busy. Our 7 and 4 year girls had a great time. Will be back.

Activities Galore!

This is a gem in the woods! Came in the Wednesday before Memorial Day and they found a space for me even though they have a stack of reservations this weekend. There is a Game Room, pool, waterslide, playground, basketball court, horseshoes, mini golf, sluice for finding treasures from the bagged dirt you buy, fire rings, firewood, dog park and store. I may have missed something. This is all on a wooded area with trees at RV sites. My site is level and gravel with picnic table and fire ring. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great campground!

Weekend Trip

This was our first time at this campground. Had a great time. Sites were clean. Plenty to do for kids and adults. Store was well stock and decent prices. Good sam discount was great. Employees were helpful and pleasent. We will be returning in the near future.

Great Campground! 4/8/17

GoodSam Discount! Great experience over easter break from school! Plenty of amenities. Play ground, jump pad, basket ball, volley ball, putt putt, fishing, new dog park and two pools which were not open due to time of year but owners told us a 3rd pool was in the very near future! Very close to NC Zoo!!! Definitely recommend.....only negative i could mention is very large 5th wheel trailers may be tight in sites but i had no problems with my rv.

Disappointing CG

Funny how people can have different experiences at the same CG. Our second time here. We were placed in a site surrounded by mud. We moved the next day to a pull through site with no shade, one extreme to the other! What bothered me was the attitude of the lady in the office. Seems I was bothering her and insulting her because I didn't like my muddy site. She said all sites were reserved for that weekend so I should feel lucky. By Sunday afternoon, there were still dozens of open sites, some very nice. Must have been scores of cancellations! Our new site was level and the park was clean. I just won't return because of the poor attitude.

Super Campground!

This is our home away from home. Zooland is our favorite local campground. Always clean, great managment and workcampers! Close to everything you need but far enough out that its quiet. They are a goodsam park!
