New Owners New Hidden Gem!

If you are looking for peace and quiet and some time with nature this is your place! It is a little known gem in a little town in Cohocton NY. It’s south of Rochester NY in the Finger Lakes area of Western NY. This campground is vast with lots of hiking trails and a ton of different accommodations - RV sites with full hookup, tent sites that are nice and remote, beautiful cabin rentals with water and power with ac units, rv rentals and just lovely grounds. It would be ideal for an outdoor corporate getaway or family reunion with the nice gazebo close to the club house. The owners do an amazing job of making guests feel welcome and maintain the property wonderfully. The bathroom/shower facilities are immaculate. It is close to Canandaigua lake for shopping and boating. I highly recommend this lovely hidden gem!

Defunct And For Sale

Stopped by for a night. Water and electric worked and bathrooms looked clean. But no one was there. Office was locked. Rec room was strewn with toys and looked untouched. Playground and other areas were overgrown. A couple people meandered around to get a look at our plate but none approached us. Somewhat erie ghost town feel to the place. No one came by to collect, nor was there a drop box. Boil water signs were in bathroom and outside office door. Place is on a steep hill tucked in deep woods facing the east. Tons of mosquitoes despite looking very dry. Campground Website has been shut down. Campground is listed for sale.
