Beautiful Place, But Not For RVs!!

Did a day trip to Morphy Lake because the NM State Park web site said "Closed Until Spring 2019". It's summer 2019 .... still closed. WARNING The Morphy Lake road above Ledoux NM is at most 1.5 lanes wide, most of it less. There are no turn outs for opposing traffic, just a few wide spots of a couple feet. Turnaround in just a couple of places. RV? Don't do it! One or less star RV rating. On the positive side, when it is open it is a great day trip with a picnic, fishing rod, and camera in a beautiful setting. 5 star day trip. The ammenties listed above are incorrect. No power, no water, pit toilets. The park says max RV length 17 feet. A tent trailer there may be ok, but you still have to deal with the road in.
